It is with great sadness that we have decided to cancel the Hafla. When we picked this date back in October we were very hopeful that things would be getting better not worse. However in light of the current surge in Covid cases we feel it would be best to postpone until we can safely hold this event and make it even better for all of you.

Everyone who has already purchased tickets will be refunded.

Thursday: welcome and camping set up

Friday: classes, fire and drum circle

Saturday: classes, evening show, fire and drum circle

Sunday: pack up and say our goodbyes

Classes by some of the best teachers Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast have to offer.

Covid 19 Precautions:

There is more then enough space for us to spread out on the sixty acres Gryphon’s Nest has to offer. However, we will be limiting attendance to 50 people to make sure we can still social distance when we gather for events. Masks will be required at all times in the clubhouse and we ask that everyone practice social distancing especially when around those outside of your family bubble. Because everyone has a different comfort level with contact and we want everyone to feel safe, when you arrive you will chose a color coded wrist band.

Green for accepting hugs (still ask first)

Yellow for cautious, will accept elbow bumps but please keep a respectful distance.

Red for no hugs and please keep a six foot or more distance at all times.
